About the Role

Roo is looking for a temp to hire Technician Coordinator who will facilitate positive user experiences for hospitals and technicians on our innovative veterinary staffing platform. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new Roo technician users and ensuring that they have a positive and productive experience from their first day. This role is to work on the weekends only, and you will be required to work 16 hours a week (8 hours per day on the weekend).
This Job is remote in any of the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, MN, NY, NC, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, and WA.

Your Responsibilities

  • Review technician videos to establish their level of skill and tier them appropriately to match them to shifts that are relevant to their experience level and area of expertise.
  • Run background checks for all technicians who sign up to the platform.
  • Support technicians in finding and completing shifts.
  • Develop and implement an effective onboarding program for new users.
  • Ensure that all new users receive necessary training and resources to succeed in their roles.
  • Track and report onboarding metrics to measure the success of the program.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and facilitate introductions to key team members.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new users to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Manage queries through Zendesk related to user issues, working closely with the client support team.
  • Continuously improve the onboarding program based on feedback and industry best practices.
  • Manage user behavior.
  • Track learnings to deliverables for Product innovation.

Qualifications

  • Vet technician/animal healthcare industry experience is essential for this role (ideally in a lead position).
  • 8-10 years experience in a hospital setting is highly desired.
  • Experience in client/customer support in an early-stage start-up environment is a plus.
  • Proactive, organized and accurate in all internal and external company communications.
  • Excellent communication organizational skills.
  • Familiar with Hubspot, Zendesk and Slack are a plus.
  • Timely and efficient in task accuracy and completions.
  • Flexible agile, ability to pivot quickly.
  • Driven to improve processes/ communications.
  • Excited to join an ever growing team of professional diverse individuals.
The plan is for this role to start as a temporary hire and early next year we will review the position and business needs to consider converting this position to a permanent hire.
