Our dynamic platform enables hospitals to fulfill personnel needs in real time, while allowing high-quality veterinary professionals to secure work at the click of a button. As Roo continues to grow as the leading veterinary relief platform, we are looking to add an ambitious Account Manager to continue to support our growing existing metro market in Southern California. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Account Management and will be a vital role in supporting our Roo users.
Note that this role would be operating on a fully remote basis, and individuals MUST reside within the Southern California area (Los Angeles/San Diego) to be considered for this position.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide support for all hospital and vet professional users throughout the end-to-end Roo experience process – e.g. onboarding, new user/pre-first shift contact, etc.
- Help to fulfill needed relief shifts through vet network knowledge and in coordination with BD
- Ensure hospital vet users remain actively engagement happy with Roo platform
- Manage active vet/hospital general inquiries
- Proactively address any rainy-day scenarios and resolve any user issue or inquiry in a timely manner, working with client support
- Manage active vet/hospital general inquiries
- Coordinate any payouts/reconciliation with Finance
- Plus any other activities needing AM support
About You
- Experience working in the veterinary/animal health care space a plus
- Strong knowledge of working with DVMs and veterinary hospitals a plus
- Strong business relationship building and account managing skills.
- Ability to utilize our CRM tool (Hubspot and/or Zendesk) to track user acquisition progress.
- Proactivity – staying ahead of the curve in day-to-day work.
- Strong communication skills (a written prompt will be part of the interview process).
- Organized, yet able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work with different teams as well as remote team members.
- Ability to understand business needs and identify ways to grow.
- Flexibility and agility — this is an early stage startup environment.

- Compensation: $60,000-$90,000; commensurate with experience and geographic location
- In addition, this role will be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus of up to 10% of the base salary
