Full-time, although we would be happy to consider applicants who are looking to work on a part time basis. What is the role about?
The Product Owner will support a small, expert team in delivering outcomes set by the Product Manager and Digital Product Management Team. They will work on projects, varying in size and scope, with objectives and deliverables determined at the outset of each new project. Work will be focused on Product and Service Development activity to support new or existing Reed in Partnership services.
Product and service development will centre on the use of technology to deliver efficiency and respond to sector requirements. Researching new technology and ways of working to improve the service for our customers and service commissioners, while ensuring that technical changes are adequately assessed for impact, prioritised, scheduled and implemented, minimising risk and disruption to business operations. Then working with stakeholders and partners to develop the product or service ready for service delivery.
Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Research and analysis for Product and Service Development projects, producing summary reports and conclusions. Including researching customer trends and behaviours and development of knowledge of suitable products available on the market
Support with Marketing updates considering new contract launches and migration of existing services from legacy CRM
Support with User story generation when required.
Where required, providing support to the Business Development team to ensure effective bid submission, by maintaining a comprehensive feature checklist in line with new versions.
Supporting activity linked to the product lifecycle for both new and existing products, including the company CRM, within Reed in Partnership - identification, research, development, implementation and continuous improvement
Contribution and input into innovative product ideas to support delivery of new and existing Reed in Partnership services
Liaising with internal (e.g. IT, Business Development, Operations and Risk) and external (e.g. developers) stakeholders to achieve and progress project objectives
Supporting with testing and evaluation of testing of new products, at feature and service level, including shadowing of operation processes and creation of end-to-end test packs.
Supporting with Triage of new issues and change requests via JIRA
Collating feedback from users of existing products and writing reports with recommendations of updates and improvements to enhance the user experience and increase usage
Liaising with internal (e.g. IT, Business Development, Operations) and external (e.g. developers) stakeholders to achieve and progress project objectives
Supporting with testing and evaluation of testing of new products and services
Ensure comprehensive risk assessment and impact analysis for all changes and releases, and schedule changes to align with business priorities and to minimise disruption

Strong IT skills
Strong Excel and data manipulation skills and the ability to find data trends and provide analytical commentary

Desirable Attainment:
Level 3 Service Management Framework qualification
