Grievance Officer, Reddit

We’re looking for a Grievance Officer to support Reddit’s India operations and help ensure compliance with local law.

What You’ll Do:

• You’ll act as Reddit’s India consumer grievance officer as required under the IT Act
• You will manage customer queries within the defined timelines and ensure resolution in compliance with local law.
• You’ll be a strategic, proactive, and pragmatic partner and collaborator to Reddit’s legal, policy, and trust safety teams, helping internal teams resolve customer queries.
• You’ll work with the India Chief Compliance Officer and other legal team members, handling day-to-day issues facing Indian consumers.

What We’re Looking For:

• You have 10+ years of work experience in customer support roles and 2+ years of experience as a Grievance Officer. You are passionate about providing users with delightful customer service.
• You have experience dealing with user safety, privacy, and freedom of expression issues.
• You love process and scale and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• You are nimble, fast-moving, and an excellent communicator. You're used to collaborating effectively across time zones and have the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, legal team members, and internal stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• You have a getting to “yes” approach in working with the business.
• You love and use Reddit as a platform!
