Our client is building the digital infrastructure for the future of decision-making. Their configurable platform helps courts, tribunals, and arbitration bodies move from paper to digital - automating workflows, enabling online hearings, and embedding explainable AI into decision-making.
They are a small product-driven team of engineers and lawyers with experience from places like Canva, Atlassian, and the Supreme Court. They move fast, build thoughtfully and care deeply about improving access to digital justice.
The Role
Were looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who can do a bit of everything - design systems, write clean code, debug gnarly problems, and help us scale whats working.
Youll work directly with the Founder and CTO to build the product end-to-end and lay the technical foundations for growth across our first customers.

What Youll Do
Build, test, and ship features across the Briefcase web-based platform.
Design and evolve data models and APIs that Briefcase casefiles and workflows.
Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security and reliability.
Integrate responsible AI tools such as document assembly and document analysis
- Collaborate with our product designer to create simple, intuitive and fast experiences. Balance speed with maintainability - help us ship quickly and build for the long term
What Were Looking For
- 4 years experience as a full-stack engineer. Ideally familiar with Nextjs, React, Typescript, Postgres and Supabase.
- Someone with a focus on execution, optimisation and who is comfortable as or developing into an AI-native developer.
Comfortable working independently you enjoy solving problems end-to-end
Experience (or strong interest) in SaaS, AI-enabled products, or civic/legal tech
Pragmatic and curious you know when to ship fast, and when to refactor for scale
