We are a social enterprise with a mission to unlock the incredible, untapped potential of underprivileged youth in Madagascar. At Onja, which means 'waves' in Malagasy, we find the most brilliant young minds who lack the financial means to pursue further education and welcome them into our intensive training program. Our entire focus is to transform these talented individuals into world-class software developers, ready to compete and excel on the global stage. We believe that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. Our goal is to bridge that gap by providing a pathway to meaningful, high-impact careers in the technology sector. The journey for our students is a transformative one. Over two and a half years, they immerse themselves in a rigorous curriculum that covers not only advanced software development but also fluent English, the global language of business and technology. We equip them with the skills they need to thrive as remote front-end developers in international tech teams.
