Position Summary Reporting to the Provider Network Development Manager, the Regional Field Operations Recruiter will be responsible for effectively recruiting contractors that service our customers’ home repairs. The Regional Field Operations Recruiter will prospect and vet contractors that provide quality and comprehensive plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance services. This will require travel and in person visits. The Regional Field Operations Recruiter will collaborate with Regional Operations Managers and others to identify and manage gaps in network coverage and negotiate rates. While this position is remote, we are only considering candidates in the Kansas City, KS (or surrounding) area. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Recruit providers to establish and maintain a viable provider network.
- Negotiate new provider service rates to control claim costs.
- Perform emergency recruitment of contractors when necessary.
- Demonstrate awareness of current standards and Codes of Practice.
- Perform projects as required that will involve field work.
- Create and manage your travel schedule based on current recruitment needs.
- Monitor marketplace changes that affect OHS’ business and industry.
- Demonstrate a commitment to OHS core values and behaviors.
- All OHS employees are required to: (1) read and strictly adhere to all compliance policies and procedures of the various OHS entities, as applicable; and (2) work together with their teammates to resolve compliance issues.

- 1+ years of recruiting and/or managing third party contractors.
- Background and understanding of plumbing / heating / electrical or similar environment.
- 3+ years prior trade experience required.
- Understanding of consultative selling skills (Introduction, Probing, Handling Objections, Identifying Buying Signals).
- Strong oral and written communications skills with emphasis on negotiation and collaboration.
- Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Able to learn and maneuver different software systems to perform daily jobs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
We offer a compelling total rewards package that includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits to support your total wellbeing. The base pay range for this position is $53,000-$86,600 salary. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus.
