Role Summary

The Senior Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of OhmConnect Energy’s (OCE’s) ERCOT Back Office Operations which includes Transaction Management, Revenue Assurance and Customer Experience.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure OCE customers are onboarded accurately through different channels, this includes required disclosures, capturing accurate customer information, transaction types etc; while ensuring fraud mitigation procedures are followed.
  • Ensure timely processing of all market transactions; including processing and resolving transaction rejects.
  • Ensure all contract and Transmission and Distribution Utility (TDU) rates are accurately updated and represented in the billing system.
  • Act as a liaison between transaction management and customer experience, effectively ensuring customer outbound calls are issued to customer service agents to support customer life-cycle needs.
  • Assist Revenue Assurance to ensure OCE customers are invoiced timely and accurately per Public Utilities Commission of Texas (PUCT) Rules; support other projects on an as needed basis.
  • Manage resolution of MarkeTrak issues per market rules.
  • Calculate and create commission reports for third-party sales partners.
  • Subject matter expert for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and TXSET to provide support for TXSET 5.0 implementation.
  • Provide monthly reporting statistics on areas such as enrollments, rejections and MarkeTrak.
  • Work with internal teams to support all aspects of the Demand Response product, ensuring continuous improvement of the product.
  • Assist with Identifying areas of improvement across the Operations back office and throughout the lifecycle of the customer experience.
  • Update and create documentation of operational processes and policies as needed.
  • Support company targets in customer count, revenue, and demand response.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in Retail Energy
  • Minimum of 3 years in ERCOT market operations
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent market experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of meeting company objectives
