We’re looking for a creative and technically capable WordPress Web Designer who can build, customize, and manage websites from concept to launch. Should have strong experience working with Divi, Elementor, and WooCommerce.
You’ll be expected to manage your own projects, liaise directly with clients, and deliver results that align with brand goals, timelines, and user experience standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and service-driven with a passion for quality design and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build responsive websites using Divi and Elementor.
- Build, Customize and extend WooCommerce stores (products, checkout flows, layouts, and styling).
- Manage website projects end-to-end - including client communication, planning, design, revisions, and deployment.
- Implement modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (intermediate level) to enhance user experience and interactivity.
- Ensure websites are optimized for speed and mobile performance.
- Perform quality assurance testing, troubleshoot issues, and apply performance or security improvements.
- Maintain consistent branding, accessibility, and UX standards across all pages.
- Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams, providing updates and gathering feedback clearly.
- Handle staging, versioning, and migration between environments safely.
- Collaborate with other designers, marketers, and developers when needed.
Core Skills Required
Technical Proficiency
- WordPress CMS: Customization, child themes, templates, and plugin configuration.
- Builders: Advanced proficiency in Divi and Elementor (custom CSS, global elements, dynamic content, templates).
- WooCommerce: Setup, customization, checkout modification, product structuring, and payment integrations.
- Front-End: Intermediate CSS and JavaScript/jQuery.
- PHP (basic): Able to modify templates or functions safely.
- Responsive Design: Ability to create layouts that adapt seamlessly across devices.
- SEO Basics: Proper use of headings, meta-data, image optimization, and Core Web Vitals awareness.
- Performance Optimization: Caching, image compression, script minimization, and database cleanup.
- Security Awareness: Understanding of plugin vulnerabilities, SSL, and secure form handling.
- Hosting: cPanel
Design/UX
- Understanding of modern UI principles, typography, spacing, and hierarchy.
- Ability to translate wireframes or Figma/XD designs into functional, polished websites. Sometimes this may require you to build out a full website from a limited design set.
- Strong sense of layout balance and visual consistency.

- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), All in One SEO, the Events Calendar, Cloudflare, Constant Contact, WP Control, and Zapier.
- Familiarity with Cronjobs

- Understanding of DNS, SSL certificates, site backups
- Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or Search Console setup experience.
- Project management platforms like - Monday
- Knowledge of schema markup and advanced SEO practices.
Qualifications
- Min 2 -years of proven experience building and managing WordPress websites.
- Portfolio demonstrating Divi, Elementor, and WooCommerce projects.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
