Global Sales Instructional Designer

Summary:

The position entails developing and implementing comprehensive sales training programs aimed at enhancing learning experiences through engaging multimedia content. Standardized instructional design processes will be established to ensure consistency across global training materials. The role involves assessing training program effectiveness through metrics and feedback mechanisms, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Collaboration with sales leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders is essential for gathering insights and refining training content. Cultural and regional considerations will be integrated into instructional design to ensure relevance across diverse markets. Additionally, the role involves leveraging artificial intelligence to personalize learning paths and improve content delivery.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Learning Management System to ensure seamless delivery, tracking, and reporting of sales training programs globally.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and impactful sales training curriculum, leveraging multimedia and interactive content to enhance the learning experience.
• Implement standardized instructional design processes and templates to maintain consistency in training materials and delivery methods globally.
• Establish metrics and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of sales training programs, continuously refining content based on feedback and results.

• Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to gather insights, content, and feedback for continuous improvement of training programs.
• Consider and integrate cultural nuances and regional variations into instructional design, ensuring relevance and effectiveness across diverse global markets.
• Spearhead the incorporation of artificial intelligence into instructional design processes, leveraging AI for personalized learning paths, adaptive content delivery, and real-time performance support.
• Oversee the management and administration of the Learning Management System, ensuring the smooth delivery, tracking, and reporting of global sales training programs.

Qualifications/Skills

• Experience with design platforms, such as InDesign, Articulate Storyline, Rise
• Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS)
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:

• BS or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field
• Previous experience in instructional design
