Travel the world
We love checking places off our collective bucket list. The entire company gets together a few times a year — in the US for a week-long trip to different cities and once abroad for an extended adventure called Offshore. Families are also invited to join us abroad, but if traveling isn’t your thing then don’t worry, every trip is optional.
Take a 2 month sabbatical
After 8 years of tenure at Expensify, you get a 2 month sabbatical at Expensify (fully paid!). The goal here is that having been here for 8 years, you have successfully built processes that don't rely heavily on you, have largely been automated, distributed and/or handed off. And most importantly, after 8 years, you deserve an extensive break.
