We are looking for a highly motivated and data-driven individual to join our team as a Growth Campaign Manager for Digital Financial Services at M-KOPA. As a Growth Campaign Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing growth campaigns that focus on maximizing customer retention and optimizing customer journeys. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive impactful campaigns that enhance our customer experience and loyalty.

This role offers the opportunity to drive significant customer and business impact. You will be a member of a small team with the big responsibility of driving the growth of M-KOPA’s Digital Financial Services products, which enable M-KOPA’s mission of becoming a transformative lifetime financial partner to our customers. You'll work cross-functionally with product managers, credit analysts, and commercial operators across multiple countries.

We are looking for someone with growth experience who is excited about taking on big challenges within a growing team — if that sounds fun to you, you might be a fit!

In this role, you would be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing growth campaigns. You will create and manage weekly growth campaigns. You will identify key customer segments and tailor campaigns to suit them. And you will utilize various marketing channels, including SMS, in-app notifications, and social media to execute campaigns.

  • Conducting A/B testing. You will plan and conduct A/B tests to optimize campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. You will analyze and interpret test results to make data-driven decisions and iterate on campaign strategies.

  • Tracking and analyzing campaign results. You will define the core campaign metrics needed to achieve growth objectives and KPIs. You will monitor and measure the effectiveness of growth campaigns against those metrics. You will prepare and present campaign performance reports to stakeholders, providing actionable insights.

  • Optimizing customer journeys. You will utilize customer data and insights to identify pain points and opportunities in the customer journey. You will propose and implement improvements to existing customer journeys to improve conversion rates.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with the marketing, product, commercial, customer care, and data analytics teams to align campaign strategies with broader business objectives. You will leverage customer feedback and data to improve overall conversion rates.

This is a fully remote role , however you will need to be based in either Nigeria or Kenya as your scope of work will be specific to either of those markets/countries.

Your application should demonstrate:

  • 3+ years working in relevant roles

  • Proven experience in developing and executing growth campaigns. Experience in B2C companies is a plus!

  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and campaign optimization techniques

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and customer segmentation strategies

  • That you are extremely results-focused and are a self-starter, with excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • A proactive and creative mindset to explore new approaches

  • Ability to work with diverse, distributed teams across multiple countries

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

  • We are looking to fill this position in both Kenya and Nigeria. If you are based in Kenya, you must be fluent in Kiswahili; if you are based in Nigeria, you must be fluent in Pidgin and preferably also least 1 local language.
