Luno is looking for a Market Surveillance Analyst to join their Market Surveillance team in Cape Town, South Africa. The role will involve investigating and analysing surveillance alerts and suspicious trading events to ensure market conduct compliance. The ideal candidate will have a relevant university degree, at least 3 years of experience in a financial markets-related role, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree from a recognised tertiary institution
- At least 3 years of experience in a financial markets-related role within a trading or compliance environment
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data
- Ability to conduct quantitative analysis using varied information sources to investigate complex financial transactions and trading behaviour
- Good communication and writing skills
- Strong sense of ethics, transparent, responsible and with unwavering integrity
