Senior Software Development Engineer (Testing) - SDET

We're seeking an experienced Senior SDET to lead our application testing efforts. You will be playing a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our product offerings to ensure a positive digital experience for our game studio partners and their end-users, establishing and maintaining a rigorous quality assurance process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable automated testing solutions for complex web applications
• Lead the development of end-to-end test frameworks utilizing modern web technologies
• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment
• Implement advanced performance and load testing strategies for high-traffic web platforms
• Collaborate with development teams to improve testability and quality of web applications
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in web testing methodologies
• Evaluate and integrate emerging web technologies to enhance our testing capabilities

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 years of experience in test engineering
• 3 years focusing on web technologies
• Extensive experience with large-scale test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for web development and testing (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python)
• Proficiency in performance testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of web security testing principles
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their testing implications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
• In-depth knowledge of modern web technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js)
• Experience with game development technologies, including engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity), and other game platform technologies (Playfab, Epic Online Services, Unity Gaming Services)
• Experience working with UX designers and developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design innovative solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Desire to work in an early-stage, fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity
• Passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming industry's unique challenges
