About the Team
The JumpCloud access and authentication Team is changing the way IT admins and users authenticate to their JumpCloud managed IT resources for a frictionless experience to get work done. The days of the traditional corporate security perimeter are over. Remote work – and the domainless enterprise – are here to stay. As such, we believe securing all endpoints is at the crux of establishing trust, granting resource access, and otherwise managing a modern workforce. Our Cloud Directory Platform supports diverse IT endpoints from devices, SSO applications, infrastructure servers, RADIUS, and LDAP is making it easy for IT admins to manage the authentication required from MFA to zero trust using conditional access based on Identity Trust, Network Trust, Geolocation Trust, and Device Trust based on X509 certificates. The access and authentication Team is at the center of frictionlessly orchestrating a user's least privileged access.
JumpCloud is looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive strategy, roadmap, innovation and have significant influence on the future of JumpCloud. You will lead and drive several product areas and be responsible for meeting KPIs and objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and drive key strategic initiatives that have high impact on the strategy and roadmap
- Develop product roadmaps and build alignment across product teams, cross-functional teams, other product areas, and the leadership/executive team
- Drive market and customer research looking for opportunities and trends. You will take a lead in identifying products/features to be built which help achieve company objectives
- Be an Evangelist externally and internally communicating the vision, roadmap, and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Software Architects, UX, marketing and other cross functional teams to define products with great customer experience
- Lead by example - you will be coaching, mentoring other Product Managers
- Rapidly iterate and evolve the product to meet customer needs, while creating extensible and scalable solutions.
We’re looking for:
- 8+ years of Product Management experience directing strategy and execution of SaaS, Enterprise or security products. 12+ years of increasing responsibility in related roles
- Domain knowledge in IAM, RADIUS Authentication, Certificate based authentication, machine identity, PKI, asymmetric cryptography, zero trust, MFA, FIDO, passwordless Authentication, password management.
- Track record of driving impact in a cross-functional, highly collaborative environment.
- Swift, high-quality decision making, informed by customer and market data, but balanced with pragmatism and vision
- Ability to untangle the interconnectedness of the complex authentication mess and simplify the same to drive the cross-functional team in the same direction.
- Passion to be successful in startup and high growth environment
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MBA or related industry experience
