The ideal candidate will follow detailed formatting instructions precisely to ensure high-quality output and work during morning hours in PST.Responsibilities:
- Extract restaurant menus from various sources including images, PDFs, and online pages.
- Translate menu content accurately between English and Portuguese.
- Format extracted and translated menu items according to specific guidelines and requirements.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in menu item descriptions, prices, and categories.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to avoid errors in translation and formatting.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager to clarify instructions and requirements.
- Use Google Sheets and other relevant software tools proficiently for data entry and formatting.
- Work according to a set schedule in the morning PST time zone.
- Native-level proficiency in English and Portuguese languages.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Previous experience in linguistic auditing or translation is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-generated content is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese (both written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Proficiency in using Google Sheets and general computer skills.
- Experience with document and image extraction tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, OCR tools).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in translation between English and Portuguese will be considered an attribute.
- Basic understanding of HTML and web scraping tools is a plus.
Pay is unit-based, with an effective hourly rate of $4, depending on efficiency and quality.
Training pay will be provided after the completion of at least two working weeks (15 days).
