Position: Product Manager

As a Product Manager you will focus on the Learner Experience of our career development platform. You’ll partner with our Engineering Leads and VPs of Engineering, and Product. Together, you will radically improve our assessments and learner experience to drive technician career development and business outcomes for employers. Your role within the group is to analyze the highest ROI opportunities, architect scalable solutions, and manage the development and testing of features.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the development of assessment and learner experience features to drive technician career development and business outcomes for employers
- Use business and user requirements to make key technical decisions in partnership with engineering leads to support wise trade-offs and timely decisions
- Make tested improvements to features that have aged to the point of frustration or irrelevance for users
- Maintain and take action on a strong feedback loop across employers, learners, and the broad market for assessments
- Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and new tools to step-change our efficiency
- Conduct user testing and QA
- Actively look for inspiration from other Assessment, Learning, Gaming, 3D and VR brands
- Ensure successful learner outcomes
Who you are:
- Strong technical skills with a proven ability to work in partnership with engineering and technical leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to successfully facilitate decisions around complex ideas and technical trade-offs.
- Good emotional intelligence, enabling effective collaboration and relationship building.
- Strategic thinker with a keen ability to identify patterns and find systematic solutions.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on scale and pragmatic innovation.
- Passionate about technology, with a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Strong empathy and user-centric focus, understanding the impact of product decisions on content authoring stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of product management experience (EdTech preferred)
- Demonstrated success driving a strategic roadmap forward
- Practical ability to write technical requirements, user stories, etc
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with JIRA analytics, React, app development and BI/Product analytics tools (e.g. Pendo, Amplitude, Heap)
- Have used scrum and agile and are familiar with tools and ceremonies that support them
- Bonus points for experience in assessments, psychometrics, or simulation design
