We're hiring a Financial Controller (Remote anywhere from Pakistan)
About the client Company:
Our client company is the top listed studios that working in AR and VR.
About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Controller with hands-on experience managing UK and UAE taxation, VAT, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across multi-region entities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and UK tax regulations.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements across UK and UAE entities.
  • Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and tax advisors.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closings with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain internal financial controls and accounting policies.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is highly preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to both UK and UAE financial frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of VAT, corporate tax, and cross-border financial compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP platforms).
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills with attention to detail.

Other Details:

Working Timings: Monday to Friday 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Location: DHA Phase 6 Lahore
