Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. We’re looking for an Advertising Copywriter with agency experience who loves brand storytelling and working with your Art Director partner to bring ideas, concepts, and digital/social media campaigns to life. You should have concrete experience in social-first executions - both organic and paid, static and motion, and paid display and show the ability to stretch into other mediums. Your job is to bring GoDaddy’s unique point of view to advertising that spans audiences, platforms, and countries. Your work will bring our brand, products, and services to life, while also driving revenue. You’ll start from scratch, you’ll punch up other’s work, and you’ll ensure that when people see “GoDaddy,” they are both informed and entertained.

What you'll get to do...

• Lead, develop, and guide the messaging for integrated campaigns
• Proficiency in writing quickly and with a high level of success
• Develop a detailed understanding of user needs and how they differ to build solutions for teams across the organization
• Interpret creative briefs and write strong copy for a wide variety of platforms and media
• Partner with strategists and art director team to build succinct and effective campaign guidance
• Work in coordination with other copywriters, designers, creative directors, and external resources to build effective communications
• Communicate clearly and consistently across the organization on an international level
• Embody GoDaddy’s culture of integrity, productive dissent, passion, and scrappiness

Your experience should include...

• 5+ years experience in advertising writing
• Experience writing for a variety of media, especially social media and digital channels
• Production experience: Have experience in bringing your ideas to life by choosing VO, recording VO talent, choose music, and working with your AD on all points of pacing/fx/motion, etc
• Excellent communicator
• Excellent organizational skills
• Very high attention to detail
• Self-motivated. Able to work independently with minimal direction
• Able to prioritize varying demands and multitask as needed
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
