Job Description Summary
As a Project Manager - Installation, you will coordinate planning, delivery, installation and timely implementation of various medical equipment and solutions orders to fulfill customer commitments and operationally support business objectives. You will be a primary point of contact for our customer base and internal stakeholders, working collaboratively to meet customer requirements. The primary focus will be the GE HealthCare Patient Care Solutions segment, including Patient Monitoring, Anesthesia and Diagnostic Cardiology orders. With potential to support other GE HealthCare product segments as needed.This role requires travel and onsite time at customer facilities as well as home-based work. It requires joint interaction with customers, sales, service, customer training functions and other commercial operations team members. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources for installation and full solution implementation planning that may include equipment-only, suites of products and software solutions.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers and how the work of a Project Management team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Execute the implementation of managed projects including identification of GE HealthCare and customer responsibilities and deliverables as defined in the sales contract. Act as the primary liaison between GE HealthCare and the customer project teams.
- Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to develop project plans and solve for critical path milestones. Demonstrates technical skills and analytical thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Drive customer satisfaction and process productivity throughout the installation process.
- Identification, escalation and resolution of issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and GE HealthCare operational targets.
- Work cross functionally with sales, customer training functions, services & commercial operations teams while owning the project management and implementation process for GE HealthCare Projects.
- Maintain accurate project milestone date accuracy creating visible and predictable data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting.
- Support revenue & site readiness forecasting processes.
Required Qualifications
- College or University degree in Commerce (Business Analytics, Business Administration, Operations) and / or Engineering, IT or equivalent related discipline.
- Minimum three years of project management experience or indirect expertise in multiple lead installation roles.
- Demonstrated project management experience within the healthcare industry or indirect expertise in multiple lead installation roles.
- Willingness to travel cross provincially including overnight stays when necessary.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Desired Characteristics
- Pursuing or active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Understanding of regulatory, compliance, EHS and quality requirements for safe and compliant order fulfillment.
- Knowledge or experience within the Healthcare industry pertaining to implementation requirements for medical equipment in clinical care areas and/or IT integration.
- Familiar with one or more of IT concepts that include networking, IP addresses, switches, routers, virtual servers, etc.
- Experience with large-scale healthcare system implementation projects involving data and application integrations using various healthcare standards (HL7, IHE, etc.).
- Experience with electronic patient record systems.
- Experience leading testing and go live readiness efforts in partnership with customers, EMR/EHR Vendors, internal stakeholders and other 3rd party vendors as required.
- Ability to communicate technical subjects to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in the use of project Management Software.
- Six Sigma certification and/or experience in Lean methodology.
