Expert Product Owner

We currently have a vacancy for an Expert Product Owner fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be working remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.

Your tasks:

• Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an indepth understanding of a specific business domain;
• Create, maintain, prioritize and sequence the product backlog based on business value or return of investment;
• Creates user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint;
• Participates to retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum related meetings;
• Reviews deliverable and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint;
• Facilitates the acceptance of the product by the business.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least 7 years of experience with IT web development projects;
• At least 7 years of experience with Project Management methdologies (e.g., PRINCE, PMP, PM2, Scrum);
• At least 7 years of experience with Project Management or Product Management;
• At least 7 years of experience with Agile methodology (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, etc.);
• At least 7 years of experience with tools like JIRA or Gitlab;
• At least 7 years of experience with web development;
• At least 7 years of experience with relational and non-relational databases;
• At least 7 years of experience in translating user needs into technical requirements;
• At least 5 years of experience with web services (e.g., SOAP, REST);
• At least 5 years of experience managing technical teams;
• At least 3 years of experience with linked data;
• At least 2 years of experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlikview, Superset);
• Good knowledge of agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.);
• Good knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
• Mandatory certification (one of): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Scrum Master or Product Owner or equivalent.
• Optional certifications: ITIL certification above ITIL foundation (or equivalent), Project management certification such as Prince2, PMP, PM² or equivalent.
• Excellent command of the English language.
