Your mission

Are you ready to take on the exciting challenge of designing and implementing our financial processes to fuel our continued growth? We're on the hunt for a Financial Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at deskbird. If you're a financial enthusiast with a knack for improving scalable processes, data management, and technical implementation, this might just be the perfect opportunity for you!

In this role you will

  • Take full responsibility for improving the cash management process, starting with cash collection, including data management, automated ticket and invoice creation, subscription management, collections, customer support, and data interface to the data cube and accounting systems.
  • Take complete ownership of accounts receivable and revenue recognition processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Finance & Strategy, Product Management.
  • Implement new financial processes and improve the existing ones.
  • Set up, monitor, and improve process KPIs and directly measure their business impact.
  • Manage the interface of financial data with deskbird’s data cube.

What you need to be successful

  • At least 3 years of experience in a financial process role in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • Experience in technical process implementation, including familiarity with low-code tools and API management.
  • Strong academic and/or technical background in finance.
  • A proven track record of consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English; German and/or French is a plus.
