We are looking for an Information Specialist Iwho will:

The Information Specialist I supports the development, maintenance, and delivery of data and business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision making. This role focuses on building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and datasets using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data services while supporting data integrations and analytics workflows. The Information Specialist I works closely with business partners, senior analysts, data engineers, and architects to understand reporting needs, assist with KPI development, troubleshoot data and BI issues, and ensure data quality and consistency. This position emphasizes foundational to intermediate technical skills, adherence to established standards and processes, and continuous learning of modern analytics and AI-enabled tools.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data governance, architecture, transformation, and modeling

• Minimum 2 years of experience of writing SQL & DAX queries and Application development in Power BI

• Minimum 1 years of experience in Microsoft Fabric/ Azure Data services

• Familiarity with Microsoft stack - SSIS/SSRS

• Familiarity with relational databases and OLAP databases

• Familiarity with ITIL, AGILE, and SDLC methodologies

• Familiarity in writing intermediate scripts in various languages such as PowerShell, Perl, R, Python, Bash, Ruby, PHP.

• Familiarity with AI/ML and generative AI tools—such as Glean, Microsoft Copilot tools, and Fabric AI/AI Studio—to improve analytics, automate workflows, and enhance data quality.

• Familiarity with work tracking and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

• Experience with ITIL tools such as Helix

• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and other enterprise collaboration tools.
