Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales, APAC, the Channel Manager is responsible for developing and managing partner and distributor relationships to drive new business through these channels for Cofense. The Channel Manager is responsible for the strategy, recruitment, sales enablement and management of partners.
This is a critical role particularly in the Japanese market. The key objective is to achieve aggressive revenue growth through the generation of qualified opportunities by engaging the market via established (and new) channels.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage existing partner (NRI Secure) and distributor (NOP) relationships to foster closer working relationships and more effective joint GTM.
- Identify and recruit new channel partners to ensure aggressive growth expectations are met.
- Establish and manage productive and professional business relationships with key personnel in the channel.
- Coordinate Cofense and partner resources to create incremental opportunity development.
- Meet assigned targets and objectives by driving profitable sales volume through strategic partnerships.
- Enforce partner engagement accountability via Salesforce activity logging.
- Proactively assesses, clarify, and validate partner(s) needs on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure partner compliance with Cofense agreements.
- Assist Cofense account executives with reseller account mappings.
- Arrange and manage partner account planning sessions.
- Achieve assigned sales quota and profitability in designated partner accounts.
- Maintain high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Initiate and deploy training and development objectives within the Japanese channel territory.
- Enlist the support of sales engineering, implementation, services, marketing and other sales and management resources as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- This position requires 50% travel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and/or Experience:
- Four year college degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Minimum five years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment within the information security sector.
