An opportunity to play your part – As our business gears up for expansion, we're assembling a new Metering Business team to propel us toward our goal of a profitable Net Zero future. To ensure the success of this team, we require an Asset Management Analyst to lead and influence our analytics and data strategy. This role will also oversee operational aspects such as asset registration, tracking, and managing industry-level data flows, including rectifying mismatches. Additionally, the role will involve monitoring firmware, meter communications, and overall health.

The day to day –

  • Monitor and address data flow exceptions or errors related to MAP installs/replacements & churns to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Track meter assets from warehouse to installation and through churn processes, managing any exceptions encountered along the way.
  • Monitor meter health and implements health alerts throughout the meter lifecycle to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee firmware versions across the portfolio, collaborating with suppliers to maintain up-to-date firmware for system integrity.
  • Proactively addresses asset issues and implements bulk fixes when necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis by modelling complex datasets and transforming them into actionable insights.
  • Harness Centrica insight to establish industry-leading control and governance for Centrica Smart Meter Assets.
  • Support the smooth operation of the CSMA IT Stack, ensuring ongoing system management and optimisation.
  • Establish a new suite of Management Information (MI) reporting tools to drive business success and expansion.
  • Build predictive data models to drive strategic decision-making with a data-centric approach.
  • Integrate both internal and external data sources into a centralized reporting data lake for comprehensive analysis.
  • Transform complex datasets into easily understandable data points and delivers clear, compelling analysis to drive informed decisions.
  • Utilise Centrica insight to enhance control and governance for the new MAP business, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
