An opportunity to make a difference: This role entails the design, execution, and management of A/B and multivariate tests using Adobe Target, with an emphasis on crafting and optimising user experiences based on test outcomes and business insights. The role also encompasses responsibilities for front-end development, such as writing robust, clean, and well-documented code to implement the visual elements of tests within Adobe Target, ensuring compatibility across a range of browsers and devices.

Location: UK (we’re open to flexible working arrangements)

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for the design, execution, and management of A/B and multivariate tests using Adobe Target. Enhance user experiences by developing and optimising based on test results and business insights.
  • Write robust, clean, and well-documented code to bring the visual elements of tests to life within Adobe Target. Ensure these elements are compatible across various browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and data analysts, to shape and refine testing strategies that align with business goals.
  • Delve into test data, create comprehensive reports, and make data-driven recommendations to stakeholders. Use these insights to enhance site performance and user engagement.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members and mentor them. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in testing and optimisation technologies.
  • Communicate effectively about testing plans, progress, results, and future steps to stakeholders who may not have a technical background. Transform complex data into actionable insights and strategic plans.

About you:

  • Ideally, you have 5 years of experience in front-end development, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Target.
  • You are proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • You should have a significant background with Adobe Target, including the initiation and execution of tests, as well as the formulation of personalisation strategies.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics or similar tools is a plus. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is also desirable.
  • You are a results-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to utilising data-driven insights to drive digital transformation.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, discern trends, and make recommendations based on testing outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and persuasive manner to a diverse range of audiences.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is a prerequisite for this role.
