Why do we need you?
We’re looking for a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Managerto play a pivotal role in driving customer growth and long-term retention at scale. You’ll design and execute data-driven strategies that improve customer engagement and increase the long-term value our customers gain from Calendly. By leveraging key insights you will craft campaigns that expand our customer base and deepen relationships, ultimately driving greater impact across the business.
A day in the life of a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Calendly
On a typical day, you will be:
- Designing and optimizing lifecycle marketing strategies that focus on expanding customer engagement, driving growth, and ensuring long-term retention.
- Developing and implementing highly targeted, personalized email campaigns that speak to customers’ needs and encourage deeper product adoption.
- Collaborating with Product, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams to incorporate new features and insights into your lifecycle campaigns, ensuring customers have the tools and information they need to succeed.
- Running strategic experiments to test messaging, timing, and content, using data-driven insights to refine campaigns and optimize results.
- Analyzing customer behavior and product usage data to identify growth opportunities and continually improve lifecycle marketing strategies.
- Keeping customer-first principles at the heart of your work, ensuring that all messaging and campaigns are aligned with customers’ needs and preferences.
What do we need from you?
- 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, with a focus on customer growth, retention, and engagement, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success working with a self-serve product and a proven track record of driving customer adoption, engagement, and long-term retention through strategic lifecycle marketing.
- Proficiency with lifecycle marketing platforms (Braze preferred) and a strong understanding of A/B testing, segmentation strategies, and data analysis.
- Strong ability to interpret customer behavior data and translate it into actionable insights that enhance the customer experience.
- Expertise in crafting personalized, customer-first messaging that aligns with users’ needs and encourages meaningful product engagement.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and align on common goals to drive growth and customer lifetime value.
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Calendly takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee’s starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.
Base salary is just one component of Calendly’s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.
Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:
- Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
- Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
- Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2
