About the Sales TeamArbol insurance sales team is responsible for all the business development activities of Arbol’s insurance portfolio globally. The insurance sales team consists of 3 professionals spread around the US, UK, and Europe. The business development activities led by this team are focused on leveraging traditional existing distribution channels led by insurance intermediaries, as well as marketing directly some of Arbol’s product offerings.
About the RoleArbol is seeking an experienced sales professional in the US insurance marketplace that has the interest to play a leadership role in the development of the upcoming innovative market segment of parametric insurance. Arbol has been working to provide its US salesforce with a mature set of insurance/reinsurance programs that can support the ambitious growth expectations of our company in the US market. The relevant achievements on securing flexible and scalable support from different global reinsurers offer a unique platform for entrepreneurial sales professionals that are ready to engage in the market building effort around parametric insurance products in the US market.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the design of Arbol’s parametric insurance strategy for the US market
- Responsible for managing the Beazley Coverholder $100 million facility aimed for US mid-market development strategy.
- Provide support to the deployment of a top 10 global insurance company, aimed at larger corporations in the US for key priority sectors, such as renewable energy.
- Lead the scaling of wholesale broker opportunities in key market segments like parametric TC, wildfire, and more
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of proven, hands-on experience developing and executing on a broker distribution ecosystem/network.
- 5 years of experience and expertise within parametric solutions would be desirable but the key criteria of executing successful broker distribution models will prevail as key assessment metric.
- Professional exposure and working knowledge of weather/climate risk
