The GoTyme Group is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead technology delivery for a new portfolio leveraging blockchain and digital asset technology to deliver a new customer experience to customers in expansion markets.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with 4+ years in a leadership role at a digital bank, modern payments company, crypto exchange, regulated fintech, or embedded finance platform.
- Financial services and crypto experience.
- Proven full-stack engineering experience across modern frontend frameworks and backend technologies, with the ability to make and guide architectural decisions across the entire stack.
- Multi-vendor orchestration leadership, including an API-first setup approach and run at scale covering roadmaps, SLAs and support in commercial discussions.
- Demonstrated experience hiring and building remote and hybrid engineering teams across multiple time zones.
- Experience operating inside regulated fintechs across multiple jurisdictions; comfort working with compliance, risk, and regulators (e.g. MiCA, CASP, VARA, MAS DPT and equivalents).
- An AI-native operating mode.
- A 'build like a founder' approach; start-up or scale-up experience, hands-on with the product, comfortable with ambiguity, and biased to ship.
