The Sales MIS Executive collaborates with the sales team, management, and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of sales data and generate meaningful insights.
Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect, compile, and validate sales data from various sources, such as CRM systems, sales reports, and other relevant databases.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales activities, customer behavior, product performance, and market trends.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to present sales data and analysis to the management and sales team.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc sales reports, including sales performance reports, pipeline reports, sales funnel analysis, and sales forecasts.
- Monitor sales metrics, targets, and quotas, and provide insights on achievement, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing sales forecasts and projections based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
- Maintain and update the CRM system and sales databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Conduct data cleansing and ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and validating the accuracy and completeness of sales data.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, streamline sales workflows, and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Propose and implement changes to sales processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with the sales team, marketing, finance, and other departments to gather relevant data, align strategies, and provide analytical support.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the smooth functioning of sales-related systems and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in sales data analysis, MIS reporting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI), and MS Office Suite and google sheets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex data and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of sales processes, metrics, and KPIs.
- Knowledge of sales forecasting techniques and methodologies is a plus.
