PeopleCert is in search of a dynamic and results-driven HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our HR initiatives, ensuring the seamless implementation of policies, and contributing significantly to the overall success of our organization. The HR Generalist will play a vital role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and fostering a people-centric approach to drive a positive workplace culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
  • Facilitating new employee onboarding programs and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Working on identifying and nurturing talent within the organization for future roles through effective succession planning.
  • Addressing employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, as well as employee relations. Addressing and resolving employee conflicts and concerns, promoting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date employee records, managing HR documentation, and implementing administrative processes that streamline HR operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing and handling the Human Resource Management System(HRMS)
  • Supporting end-to-end the Performance Management Process.
  • Ensuring consistent adherence to HR policies, staying updated on employment laws, and implementing necessary changes.
  • Managing employee benefits programs, handling inquiries, and ensuring effective communication regarding available benefits.
  • Collaborating with other departments/stakeholders to achieve company goals and improving HR processes.
  • Staying updated on HR technology trends and explore ways to leverage technology for more efficient HR processes.
  • Staying updated on current industry trends and best practices in HR management.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of company events.
  • Ensuring the smooth functioning of the office daily.

Minimum required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities..
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective administrative and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language (native-like or C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
  • Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
