About The Role

As a DBT Developer (Snowflake & Sigma), you will design, build, and maintain robust data transformation pipelines using DBT, while leveraging Sigma for data visualization and reporting. This role involves close collaboration with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, high-performing data solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable DBT data models and transformation pipelines

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather data requirements

• Build and manage Sigma dashboards and reports for BI needs

• Implement CI/CD and version control best practices for DBT projects

• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution

• Design and maintain ELT/ETL processes for large-scale data transfers

• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for reporting and analytics

• Create and maintain documentation (data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, process documentation)

• Partner with project managers and agile teams to estimate, plan, and deliver solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field

• Proven hands-on experience with DBT (Cloud or Core)

• Experience with Fivetran

• Strong SQL proficiency, including complex transformations

• Hands-on experience with Sigma Computing for visualization and reporting

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred; BigQuery or Redshift also acceptable)

• Experience with Git and version control workflows

• Understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, normalization)

• Working knowledge of ELT/ETL pipelines and cloud data integration

• Knowledge of Python is a plus (other languages like Java, C#, or JavaScript are also a plus)
