Yolonda Singleton

I’m an Early Childhood Education Trainer, Higher Education Instructor, and Program Administrator with 20+ years of progressive experience in Child & Youth Services (CYS), higher education, and program compliance. I focus on delivering high-impact professional development that measurably strengthens classroom practice.

In my current role delivering training to CYS staff, I facilitate workshops on Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), classroom management, and curriculum implementation. I also conduct CLASS, ECERS, and ITERS observations and provide coaching to help teams raise instructional quality.

Earlier, I supported program compliance and operations as a Program Coordinator and Preschool Director—managing CACFP compliance across sites, reviewing budgets and claims, and ensuring licensing standards are met. I’m highly skilled in program management, quality assurance, and adult learning-centered staff development.

I bring strong academic grounding in educational leadership, program administration, and child/family development, along with hands-on experience in early childhood instruction and student mentorship. I bring the same data-driven, standards-aligned mindset to teaching and to compliance work, always aiming for better outcomes for children and staff.
