I’m a NOC Engineer focused on delivering dependable network operations through fast, accountable incident ownership. At Afrihost, I managed and resolved incidents within SLA, ensuring full responsibility from intake to resolution.

I provide 2nd-line technical support for network faults, connectivity issues, and service degradations, while proactively monitoring WAN/LAN and network infrastructure to maintain high availability and optimal performance. I also collaborated across internal teams and with external vendors to troubleshoot and restore network connectivity.

I’m comfortable escalating critical faults, minimising downtime, and following standard procedures to route unresolved issues to the right teams. I log and manage tickets using automated systems, maintain clear communication with clients during the resolution process, and close tickets once issues are resolved.

Beyond day-to-day operations, I’ve led fibre-related fault handling and helped manage client expectations by coordinating with third-party providers. My background is supported by CompTIA certifications (A+, N+, CCNA) and strong fundamentals across DNS, IP routing, and network security.
