Victor Fontaine

I’ve been working as a Full Stack Engineer for over 8 years, and throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects. My expertise is in cloud architecture, system optimization, and full-stack development. I’ve worked with a variety of technologies, but I’m particularly proficient in AWS, microservices, CI/CD, and containerization.

Over the years, I’ve built numerous applications from the ground up, including a cryptocurrency-based NFT marketplace, where I was responsible for both front-end and back-end development. I’ve also worked with blockchain technologies and developed smart contracts using Solidity and Web3.js. I enjoy working with cutting-edge technologies, and I’ve built a diverse set of applications, including a financial sentiment analysis tool using FinBERT and a voice conversion function using Amazon Polly.

One of my key strengths is my ability to integrate various technologies into cohesive systems. For example, in my role at Towns, I led the design of a cloud architecture using AWS services and integrated Elasticsearch for an NFT search function. I also containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and worked on optimizing gas costs in smart contracts.

In addition to my technical skills, I’ve honed my project management abilities. I’m familiar with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and tools like Jira and Notion, which allow me to collaborate efficiently with teams and ensure projects stay on track.

I am also passionate about continuous learning and improving my skills. I’ve always been interested in AI and blockchain, and I’m excited about the possibilities these technologies hold for the future. Whether it's optimizing cloud infrastructure or building complex, scalable applications, I’m always up for a challenge.

In terms of interests, I love working on freelance projects that allow me to explore new ideas and experiment with emerging technologies. I also enjoy mentoring junior developers, as it helps me share knowledge and grow as a leader.
