At Capital One, I lead cloud-native infrastructure, scalability, reliability, and security architecture for customer data platforms. I standardized SLO and SLI frameworks and deployed a Python audience-scoring gateway on Kubernetes with policy-as-code security controls.
I architected active-active infrastructure across two AWS regions, with automatic failover for mission-critical decisioning. I also scaled batch exports, reducing runtimes from about 4–6 hours to 1–2 hours, and integrated OpenTelemetry with tail-based sampling to roughly halve trace ingestion volume.
At Amazon, I built and operated distributed streaming infrastructure, including systems processing roughly 8 million daily events. I developed Python diagnostic tools for incident response, standardized error-budget policies, and helped improve deployment safety and HIPAA compliance.
