Senior epidemiologist specializing in FETP institutionalization and workforce systems.
What I'm looking for
I am a senior epidemiologist with over a decade of experience advancing Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETPs) and national surveillance systems across Zimbabwe and the region. I have led curriculum adaptation, trainee supervision, accreditation processes, funding mobilization, and applied research, mentoring 100+ FETP trainees and contributing to more than 60 peer-reviewed publications.
My work has included coordinating national evaluations (AFP surveillance, VigiMobile AEFI, cholera OCV effectiveness, CASPER), directing reaccreditation and quality assurance processes, and securing over USD 1.5M in donor funding. I translate complex technical and qualitative findings into clear guidance for decision-makers and support institutionalization roadmaps, case study documentation, and advocacy for FETP integration into workforce development frameworks.
