What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to leverage my communication skills in a dynamic environment, focusing on strategic messaging and stakeholder engagement.

I am a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communication, stakeholder management, and media relations. Currently, I serve as the Communications and Media Lead at wePlanet Africa, where I develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with our mission across the continent. My role involves overseeing media management, producing high-quality content, and positioning our leadership as thought leaders in critical areas such as energy and climate change.

Previously, I held the position of Communications Director for Bungoma County, where I drafted communication strategies and managed stakeholder relationships. My experience also includes roles as Communications Manager at the Inter Region Economic Network and Senior Business Editor at The Standard Group, where I honed my skills in content management and editing. I am passionate about using communication as a tool for advocacy and public engagement, and I have successfully led initiatives that bridge the gap between science and public understanding.
