I've spent 23 years at Deere & Company building, operating, and automating SAP infrastructure. Today I administer more than 250 SIDs across roughly 1,000 servers supporting HANA, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, EWM, Solution Manager, and Focused Run.
I designed and sized enterprise SAP landscapes and wrote the server-creation automation that made Deere's SAP migration to AWS possible. I also helped move the estate from AIX to Red Hat Enterprise Linux, then to SLES for SAP, migrated major production systems to HANA, and supported the S/4HANA upgrade that took the company off the mainframe.
I build practical automation in Perl, Python, shell, Groovy, Jenkins, and CI/CD tooling, including audit-artifact automation, Basis web tools, certificate renewal workflows, and SAP operational tooling. I work below the application layer when needed, troubleshooting Linux, AIX, Windows, TLS, Kerberos, SNC, database, routing, and load-balancing issues.
My Internal Audit experience shapes how I approach production systems: secure connectivity, evidence, controls, and reliable operations matter. I enjoy solving the difficult infrastructure problems others avoid and leaving teams with documented, repeatable tools that make the next change safer.
