What I'm looking for
I am an experienced Business Development Professional with over 10 years working with FMCG industries. I help businesses grow to higher revenues through business management, operations management, sales, route to market, and team management.
In my current role as Business Development Manager at Jotel Multiserviços Lda, I implement business plans and manage business operations while owning route to market and business growth. I identify business partners across the supply chain (suppliers, wholesalers, retailers), deliver operational and business reports, and manage daily sales operations with a focus on client relationship management (visits, retention, complaints).
Previously, as a Retail Territory Manager at Vivo Energy (previously under Engen Petroleum Mozambique), I successfully implemented business plans and grew business clients. I managed a list of petrol stations including personnel, ensured sites achieved volume and profit targets through trade marketing, promotions, incentive schemes, effective distribution, and training/coaching, and optimized operational costs through timely distribution of fuel and lubricants.
I have also delivered commercial growth as Commercial Projects Manager at Cervejas de Moçambique (AB InBev Subsidiary) and Regional Manager at British American Tobacco Mozambique—developing and executing regional trade marketing and distribution plans, managing budgets, coordinating national retailer census and brand launches, and improving market coverage.
