Syeda Kulsuma Alim

I’m an aspiring HR professional with a strong interest in employee relations, recruitment, and people development. Through business coursework and HR virtual work experience, I’ve built confidence in how teams communicate, support one another, and make hiring and wellbeing decisions.

I’m especially drawn to the practical side of HR: recruitment & selection, training & development, and providing employee support. I completed an HR virtual work experience programme where I gained insight into recruitment processes, workplace culture, and employee wellbeing, strengthening my understanding of professional behaviour and confidentiality.

In my studies, I developed people-management thinking through HR-focused projects and presentations. I researched recruitment principles, presented findings to classmates, and sharpened my data handling and communication skills while managing multiple coursework deadlines.

I also bring leadership and reliability from school responsibilities—collecting and communicating structured student feedback, helping identify improvements, and supporting team planning for events. I’m now seeking an HR apprenticeship where I can contribute to onboarding, recruitment, and employee support while continuing to grow as an HR professional.
