Susmina Manandhar

I'm leading DASTAA at NAXA Private Limited, a web GIS product for disaster risk reduction, climate adaptation, risk assessment, and anticipatory action. I turn user needs into roadmaps, requirements, delivery plans, and GIS, Earth observation, and multi-hazard data workflows.

Previously, I owned GeoNadir’s roadmap, backlog, releases, and delivery for a drone imagery repository and geospatial analytics platform. I led 15+ analytical features, including change detection, AI-based feature digitization, indices calculation, random forest classification, and raster processing workflows.

Across NAXA, I’ve managed Geo-ICT products and client projects, worked with eight municipalities on participatory mapping and spatial databases, and helped publish national-scale spatial data with the National Survey Department. I also lead a 7–10 member project and product management team, supporting execution discipline, reporting, recruitment, mentoring, and strategic planning.

I bring practical Agile delivery, product operations, manual QA, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and AI-assisted workflows to products that serve governments, humanitarian actors, and communities. I’m also a co-founder of Women in Geospatial Nepal, where I support inclusive GeoTech initiatives, training, mentorship, and advocacy.
