What I'm looking for
I’m a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and Production Support professional with 5+ years supporting Wealth Management applications for a bulge-bracket US investment bank. I focus on keeping services stable and highly available across Java and .NET platforms through strong monitoring, disciplined incident processes, and practical engineering follow-through.
In my current role at Infosys as an Sr. Systems Engineer (SRE), I develop and enhance Splunk dashboards, own SLI/SLO dashboarding, and improve on-call performance through PagerDuty escalation policy design. I lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical P1/P2 production incidents and partner with development and infrastructure teams on preventive measures.
I bring hands-on operational expertise with incident and problem management, change management (ITIL practices), and 24/7 on-call support. I also participate in chaos engineering exercises, use Apica APM for early detection, and run disaster recovery testing to validate failover behavior.
On the engineering side, I troubleshoot Kubernetes-based applications on OpenShift (including pod restarts), monitor production batch jobs with Autosys, and ensure data integrity with SQL-based validation during migrations and restores. I communicate clearly with client stakeholders, maintain Confluence documentation and SOPs, and coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve issues in vendor-supported applications.
