What I'm looking for

I’m interested in building reliable AI systems that connect technical performance with practical business and societal needs.

At AIT Austrian Institute of Technology / Siemens / Wiener Linien, I developed machine-learning and deep-learning models for passenger prediction at train and wagon level. I also contributed to a federated-learning pipeline and designed a framework to compare modelling approaches and experiments.

I built the AlKauthar Academy Platform, replacing WhatsApp- and spreadsheet-based operations with a single platform used by 57 students, 6 teachers and 8 administrators. It supports classes and academy operations, and includes an interactive tajweed textbook built from the academy’s printed curriculum.

For my NYC Subway Ridership Forecasting master’s thesis project, I investigated one-hour-ahead station-level forecasting and compared local-only and neighbour-aware xLSTM models. I also included classical and neural baselines, multi-station evaluation and robustness analysis under distribution shift.

My other applied work includes a Python modal-split analysis for Wiener Linien and an NLP workflow for extracting events and structured information from email text. I hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Johannes Kepler University Linz and a BSc in Business Informatics from Vienna University of Economics and Business.
