What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where both accounting accuracy and AI-driven workflows matter. I want to validate AI outputs, automate routine steps, and help teams know where human review is still essential for reliable reporting.

I have an accounting background paired with hands-on experience using AI tools in real work settings. I studied at the University of Nairobi, and I’ve worked with tools finance teams rely on to keep records accurate and ready for decision-making.

As an Accounting & AI Operations Specialist | Uber AI (2022 – Present), I use AI finance tools to review, validate, and process financial data—catching errors before they reach final reports. I manage records and reconciliations with QuickBooks and Xero, and I build Excel/Google Sheets models to track data and flag anomalies automatically.

I also supported teams by reviewing AI-generated outputs for accuracy and by clarifying where human review is still needed. I help translate financial process understanding into usable AI workflows, so routine steps get faster without sacrificing correctness.

Previously, as a Finance Data & AI Specialist | Handshake AI (2021 – 2022), I used Docyt and Vic.ai to automate invoice processing and expense categorisation, and I prepared clean records with Sage and Excel.
