Sirishma Amara

I'm a fourth-year Computer Science and Engineering student specializing in Artificial Intelligence at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, focused on applying AI and software development to real-world challenges.

I've built an NLP-powered recipe generation application using GPT-2, BART, DistilGPT2, and BiLSTM to create personalized recipes from ingredients and dietary constraints. I designed prompting and evaluation pipelines and delivered an end-to-end solution centered on usability and personalization.

I've also automated flood extent mapping with Sentinel Hub APIs, AWS Lambda, S3, and Sentinel-1 SAR data, creating a cloud-based visualization system for real-time disaster monitoring. For autonomous vehicles, I developed a perception pipeline using ViT-B/16, ZoeDepth, YOLOv11m, and OpenCV for adverse weather and low-light conditions.

I presented research at the ICOFE Conference on machine-learning models for loan approval prediction, evaluating classifiers including SVM, Random Forest, XGBoost, and MLP. I'm eager to contribute my problem-solving, creativity, and product-oriented mindset to innovative software and AI projects.
