At Michael Garron Hospital, I managed an active Assertive Community Treatment caseload for adults with severe and persistent mental illness and complex medical, housing, financial, and community-service needs. I coordinated care plans, assessments, referrals, and follow-up with clients and multidisciplinary partners.
I also supported medication access and treatment continuity, including preparing prescribed medications after RN verification, documenting adherence, and coordinating concerns with nursing, psychiatry, and pharmacies. My work included crisis assessment, de-escalation, and forensic reporting requirements.
Since 2011, I’ve coordinated family healthcare, educational, behavioral-health, and service advocacy across providers, schools, insurers, and community organizations. I managed a multi-stage appeal for physician-prescribed IVIG by organizing medical evidence, coordinating specialist documentation, and tracking insurer requirements through approval.
Alongside my healthcare background, I completed honors-level accounting education at Santa Monica College. In accounting projects, I worked with reconciliations, general ledger tasks, and QuickBooks and built Excel accounting schedules.
