Sharleen Amanda Thomas

I’m a versatile professional with 7 years of experience in early childhood education, building strong skills in child development, communication, and classroom management. After leaving education to focus on family and management responsibilities, I strengthened my administration and social media capabilities through hands-on business support.

Today, I work as a Cafe Manager, progressing from Cafe Supervisor. I oversee daily operations including basic accounting, bookkeeping, inventory control, and purchasing, while also handling staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling.

In addition to operational leadership, I manage social media marketing, menu planning, and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales. I’m known for working well under pressure, being a quick learner, and adapting effectively across changing environments.

Before hospitality, I was a Preschool Teacher where I planned and conducted lessons for children aged 2 to 6, focusing on phonics and English language activities, including the Jolly Phonics program. I also prepared after-school English lessons for 6-year-olds and served as a Language Parents’ Liaison during my tenure.
