In my Chinese Language Assessment & Instruction practicum, I reviewed and assessed international learners’ Mandarin speech and writing, checking grammar, tone, and punctuation. I logged recurring errors and built a structured taxonomy to track learner progress and report patterns.
I wrote itemised corrections explaining what was wrong and why, with corrected Chinese models. I also developed assessment guidelines and level-appropriate materials, including pronunciation drills, dialogues, and writing tasks.
At Xi'an Tianzhou Mining Technology Group Co., Ltd., I own people-process administration for 8 subsidiaries and 300+ employees. I’ve processed payroll with zero calculation errors for 10 consecutive months and designed a 4-module SOP system adopted as the company-wide standard.
My BA is in Chinese Linguistics, with a focus on Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. I’m familiar with annotation and transcription workflows, and I’m developing my foundational knowledge of ASR, NLU, and NLP.
