Since September 2025, I’ve worked freelance interpreting live over-the-phone calls between Mandarin and English, including sensitive, high-stakes conversations. I also translate and transcribe text and audio while keeping the source meaning and tone consistent.
In my freelance work, I produce and check ASR and OCR data, recording each task for traceability. My language services also include in-person interpretation.
From August 2023 to June 2024, I rated more than 15,000 multilingual search queries and annotated more than 500,000 text, image, and video data points, maintaining a 96–98% quality score. I also reviewed AI-generated responses and flagged low-quality or misleading outputs.
I interpreted between Chinese and English as a volunteer at Southwest University from April to July 2024, supporting international students. I learned Chinese through the Confucius Institute and in Chongqing, where I study German and serve as General Secretary of an international students’ fellowship.
